Firestone building products needed help creating a new brand identity for a waterproof underlayment used for metal roofing assemblies. The new CoreGard Technology was designed to be a self-adhering, lightweight membrane that gives waterproofing protection, keeping the contents of a building dry.
The final logo mark that I created evokes a feeling of protection and strength, as well as being modern and technology-driven. Keeping within the well-established brand family, colors were kept to a minimum and the counter on the letter G was a nod to the original Firestone logo.
